Coffs Harbour Hydrotherapy At Woolgoolga

Do you find exercising on land painful?

Is your back, hip, knee or ankle pain limiting your function?

Are you suffering from arthritis and need some relief?

Hydrotherapy offers a range of benefits if you’re struggling with pain or limited function. We offer hydro rehabilitation services for Coffs Harbour and surrounds at our dedicated hydrotherapy pool in Woolgoolga.

Currently hydrotherapy is only available at our Woolgoolga location.

Hydrotherapy helps with:

  • Arthritic joints, especially hips and knees

  • Lower back injuries

  • Post-surgical rehabilitation

  • Inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis & ankylosing spondylitis

  • Chronic pain disorders and nerve-related pain

  • Neurological disorders

  • Exercise during pregnancy

  • General fitness/conditioning

Immersion in water creates a feeling of weightlessness. It eliminates gravity and adds buoyancy, enabling you to exercise and move in ways you can’t on dry land.

The warmth of the water helps your muscles relax and alleviates joint pain, allowing you to exercise.

Hydrotherapy has the added benefit of supporting your weight and allowing an increased range of movement. It can also provide resistance. This works muscles in a different way than they’re worked on land to greatly improve strength and assist with injury recovery.

Hydrotherapy Has A Range Of Therapeutic Benefits

  • Pain relief

  • Strengthening of muscles

  • Aerobic and cardiovascular exercise

  • Increased mobility

  • Relaxation

  • Loosening of tight muscles

  • Balance and coordination

And with the guidance of our team, you’ll learn the most effective hydrotherapy movements. Our trained physiotherapists and exercise physiologists will design an individual program to target your specific needs.
